On 5/19/09 One pissed off mama said... Let's start with his staff. He only has 2 employees that I have ever seen. One woman is very filthy looking. She kept refering to my daughter as "It" and when I corrected her and said "she" the woman still called her "it" This same woman brought her daughter to work one time we were there and the little girl was taking phone calls and walking around the doctor's office barefoot. Keep in mind that this girl was 10 at the oldest and she was doing their work for them. There was a time when we had to take my daughter to the emergency room. Dr Cavender's business cards say "phones answered 24/7" This happened on a Sunday, but when I called SEVEN TIMES I was hung up on every single time. Ok, now on to Dr Cavender. He never answers my questions. My daughter has had ear aches since birth and I told Dr. Cavender about how her ears always bother her yet when he looks at her he never says anything. He seems like he's just real put out by the fact that he has to actually see patients. He comes in, checks her eyes and nose, and then he leaves making his FILTHY nurse do all of the work. OH... and about that nurse, one time we came in for my daughter's shots and I forgot to get them to sign her shot record. Well, Dr. Cavender's office is tiny. It's soo small that they only see one patient at a time. The woman just got finished doing my baby's shots and I turned right around and asked her to fill in the shot record and she had no idea what shot she just gave my daughter. WHAT THE HELL, right?! You better not be poking my daughter and injecting her with something if you have no idea what it is!!!!!!!!!! I hate everything about Dr. Cavender's office. They are the most unprofessional group I have ever been around. Their office is NASTY too. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has ever been disgusted by them either. Dr. Cavender has a piss poor attitude and in my opinion none of them should be working in the medical field.
