On 2/4/09 Virginia Bowen said... David became my vet after a move from Southern California to Brownwood, TX 3 years ago. Ironically, his practice in California was mere miles from us, yet we didn't know him there. I am excrutiatingly picky about my pets, being donkeys, and also about my newly acquired horses and mule. They are quite literally my family. David has shown me nothing but the most adept ability and absolute patience and understanding of the psychology of these animals. All in addition to providng stellar care. He is a saint! He not only didn't ever seem to mind the slowness of our donkeys, he made jokes about it! Unfortunately for me, we lost one donkey and one horse while we lived in Brownwood, and David's understanding of my intense grief was immensely appreciated by me. I promise you will not find a better veterinarian in Central Texas for equids. (BTW, I would rate him as the best vet we've had to date, and we had quite a few really good ones as we moved around. Each one I mourned leaving,
